Five Glen Cove High School photography students earned National Honors for their work from the Photographic Society of America. Julia Petrizzo won Honorable Mention in the ‘Color’ category of the National Youth Photography Showcase, while Katie Arevalo, Elijah Goldstein, Betzy Mejia, and Valeria Rosseateau had their work chosen to be displayed out of hundreds of entries at the PSA’s National Conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado this year.

Glen Cove High School photography teacher Melissa Johnides is beyond proud of her students who created thoughtful works that spanned genres from nature to portraiture to the abstract. The student’s photographs are also now featured on the PSA website.  https://psa-photo.org/page/ys-2022
