On May 22, 2023, we had the honor of hosting local veterans, Sergeant Ryals, Sergeant Dileo, and Sergeant Rosie in our US History class. They shared their experiences and reminded us all of the sacrifices made by our soldiers in the name of freedom. As we approach Memorial Day, let us remember those who gave their lives for our country. Thank you to these brave men for giving us a glimpse into their experiences. You are an inspiration to us all. A heartwarming moment happened when Sergeant Delio gave one of our students, Aiden Martone, his boots and he has yet to take them off. (see second photo)
