Dear Glen Cove Families,

We want to take a moment to remind you of the communication channels the District uses to share information about delayed openings or school closures. In most circumstances, weather-related notifications are coordinated and shared with families and staff between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM. 

As we are sure you are aware, through media reports, the current weather forecast calls for a considerable winter storm that will impact our area Sunday into Monday. Due to the imprecise nature of weather forecasts, we will continue to monitor the storm track through the weekend. Once a decision is made, we will communicate it to the community as promptly as possible.
