Victoria Franco Appointed Assistant Principal of Glen Cove High School

The Glen Cove City School District is proud to announce the appointment of Victoria Franco as Assistant Principal of Glen Cove High School. 

Ms Franco brings eight years of experience as a dedicated educator and instructional leader. She most recently worked in the Lawrence School District as a  Testing Director and previously served as a Special Education Math Teacher. With a strong background in both mathematics and special education, and as a former opera singer, Ms. Franco brings a unique blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and passion to education. She is committed to fostering academic excellence, equity, and inclusive learning environments that support the success of all students.

Ms. Franco holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Science in Childhood Education and Special Education from Hunter College, a Master of Science in Adolescent Special Education from Touro College, and earned her School Building Leader and School District Leader certifications from The College of St. Rose. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Franco brings a strong background in curriculum development, data-driven instruction, restorative practices, and schoolwide initiatives that support both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. She believes in building meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff, and is passionate about creating a school culture where all learners feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Ms. Franco is excited to join the Glen Cove community and looks forward to working collaboratively with students, families, and staff to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
