Red Ribbon Week 2025: “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free”

Deasy School Red Ribbon Week

This week, Glen Cove schools celebrated Red Ribbon Week 2025, promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free lifestyle for our students and community.

Students enjoyed assemblies, art contests, and dress-up days in red to show their support for making positive choices. Younger students focused on healthy choices and staying safe, while middle school students learned about living drug-free and resisting peer pressure.

A special thank-you to school social workers Jillian Anderson and Madalyn Iadanza, GCPD Detective Karousos, Spiro Tsikras, and SAFE Glen Cove Board members for sharing their knowledge and guidance with our students.

Our art contest showcased students’ creativity, with top entries selected by SAFE Glen Cove members. Thank you also to our art teachers for supporting students in bringing their ideas to life!

Thank you to all who joined us in making Red Ribbon Week meaningful. Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger, and drug-free community.
