Landing School 3rd Graders Take the Stage! 🎶✨

On Thursday evening, Landing School’s third-grade students opened the night with their spring concert at 6:00 PM. Held in the Glen Cove High School auditorium, the performance was a great showcase of the students' musical growth this year.

Thank you to Principal Liza Carfora and music teacher Casey Schidlovsky for their work in preparing the students for the stage. The concert followed a friendship theme, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “Stand by Me,” and “Thank You for Being a Friend.” The students also showcased their skills on the recorder with a performance of “Lovely Day.”

We extend a sincere thank you to the administration, third-grade teachers, PTA, and families for supporting our students. Special thanks to GCTV for filming the event and to the high school for hosting us in their auditorium.

We also appreciate orchestra teacher JoAnn Criblez and band teacher Pasquale Iannelli for speaking to families about the exciting band and orchestra opportunities waiting for these students in fourth grade.
