Landing Elementary Celebrates Junior Rising Stars

On Thursday, Landing Elementary School honored 51 students at its bi-annual Junior Rising Star assembly. These students were nominated by their teachers for showing incredible hard work, perseverance, and growth this year.
The event featured two special guest speakers from Glen Cove High School Class of 2026 Valedictorian Saoirse Fiedor and Salutatorian Peyton Angalet. They shared their personal stories and encouraged the younger students to keep reaching for their goals.
Thank you Mrs. Curran and Principal Carfora for organizing the ceremony; the Landing Elementary PTA for their generous support, and Dr. Alexa Doeschner and Bryce Klatsky for their ongoing leadership and encouragement.
