Important Reminder: Household Income Form Needed

Glen Cove City School District

New York State will soon determine which students are eligible for Summer EBT (S-EBT) food benefits. This determination is expected to occur at the end of February and will be based on information currently on file. Families who do not have a form on file may not be included when eligibility is determined. Summer EBT provides eligible families with grocery benefits during the summer months when school meals are not available.

Submitting this form also allows the district to continue receiving critical funding and helps secure additional state aid, grants and other resources. These funds can help to offset costs related to SAT, ACT, and AP exams, as well as fees associated with the college application process. Submitting a Household Income Form helps ensure that your child is properly considered for these benefits.

If your family has not yet submitted a Household Income Form for this school year, it is important to do so as soon as possible. What you should do now:

  • If you have already submitted a Household Income Form this year, no action is needed.

  • If you are unsure whether you have submitted one, or know that you have not, please complete and return the form promptly.

Please note: This application must be completed by February 13 to ensure the application reaches the state prior to their deadline.

Household Income Forms are available through the school and on the district website. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact your school’s main office.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us ensure eligible families receive the benefits for which they may qualify.
