Glen Cove Wind Ensemble Performs at Walt Disney World

Members of the Glen Cove High School Wind Ensemble, directed by Brittney Frank Rifkind, recently enjoyed a magical experience at the Imagination Campus at Walt Disney World. The trip provided our student-musicians with a unique blend of professional development and world-class performance opportunities.

Students worked alongside a Disney teaching artist to sharpen their sight-reading skills, culminating in a session where they recorded music in a professional studio setting.

The ensemble took the stage at the Disney Springs Waterside Stage, performing a concert for guests visiting from all over the world.

In between their musical commitments, students enjoyed well-deserved downtime exploring all four Disney theme parks.

Our students made Glen Cove proud by demonstrating exceptional musicianship and leadership throughout the journey. It was a milestone experience that these young performers, and their directors, will never forget.
