On November 21, Glen Cove students attended and presented at the 2nd Annual SUMMIT Special Olympics Conference at Jericho High School. The event brought together student leaders, educators, and Special Olympics representatives from across Long Island to share strategies for creating more unified and inclusive school communities.
Throughout the day, our students listened, learned, participated in hands-on workshops, and connected with inspiring peers and mentors. They returned with new ideas and renewed motivation to strengthen inclusion at Glen Cove.
We are incredibly proud of our Athlete Helping Athlete members for representing our district with leadership, positivity, and heart.
