Four standout musicians from Glen Cove High School were selected to perform in the prestigious fourth annual Hofstra Honor Band Festival. Held on Saturday, May 9, at Hofstra University, the event brought together the most talented high school instrumentalists from across Long Island.

Hosted by the New York State Band Directors Association (NYSBDA), the festival provided students with the unique opportunity to perform alongside members of the Hofstra Symphonic Band.

Band Director Brittney Frank-Rifkind commended the Glen Cove students for their dedication and talent on the university stage.

"I am immensely proud of our students' dedication," said Ms. Frank-Rifkind. "Participating in the Hofstra Honor Band Festival is more than an accolade; it offers our musicians invaluable professional experience and the confidence to continue their musical journeys at the highest level."

The Glen Cove City School District extends its gratitude to Ms. Frank-Rifkind for her partnership with Hofstra University and her ongoing commitment to expanding opportunities within the district's Instrumental Music program.

We congratulate the following students on their selection and performance:
