The Glen Cove City School District is proud to announce the winners of our Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. District-Wide Essay Contest. This year, students in grades 3–12 explored the theme: "Dr. King’s Dream: Equality and Inclusion for All."
We are incredibly impressed by the insight and heart shown by all our participants. Your voices are helping to build a more inclusive Glen Cove.

- High School: Bryanna Rothwell and Eva Mecca
Thank you to Mathias Calero for sharing his essay during our commemorative ceremony, for Anna Vulin for leading the pledge, and to Julie Steinhauser for her inspiring community service with NOSH.
All contest participants will receive a certificate of recognition. We invite the community to join us as we officially honor our winners at the Board of Education meeting on February 11. Congratulations to all our writers for honoring Dr. King’s legacy through your powerful words!
