Glen Cove High School Students Earn Top Ranking at DECA Long Island Regionals

We are incredibly proud of all our Glen Cove High School DECA Chapter members who competed in the DECA Long Island Regional Competition held at Plainview Old-Bethpage High School on Saturday, December 13. Our students’ hard work, dedication, and professionalism were on full display throughout the event.  The DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) Regional Competition is a prestigious annual event where high school students demonstrate their expertise in business administration, finance, marketing, and hospitality. Participants are evaluated through exams and real-world role-playing scenarios. 

Congratulations to the following students who earned top rankings on Long Island. These students will advance to the New York State DECA Conference in Rochester, NY, in March 2026, to compete against finalists from across New York State:

• Giselle Graziosi: Entrepreneurship Series, Ranked #4 on Long Island
   
• Kasper Davlatshoev: Accounting Applications Series, Ranked #14 on Long Island
   
• Boglarka Molnar: Accounting Applications Series, Ranked #15 on Long Island

“Our students’ success today reflects their remarkable professionalism and drive," said DECA Advisor Jonathan McKinnon. "I couldn’t be prouder of how they represented Glen Cove, and I look forward to seeing them shine in Rochester."
