Connolly School Celebrates Fifth Grade Moving-Up Ceremony

Congratulations to Connolly School’s fifth graders on moving up to middle school! The ceremony was held on June 26 and led by Principal Mr. Klatsky and the fifth-grade teachers. Dr. Maria Rianna thanked the families and teachers for their support. She told the students they are ready for middle school, and even if they feel nervous, the sixth-grade teachers and principal at Finley are excited to welcome them.

Mr. Klatsky spoke about how proud he is of the students. He shared how they’ve shown kindness, flexibility, and the ability to learn and grow in their own ways. He reminded them to stay kind and keep moving forward.

The students performed the Connolly School song and “On Top of the World,” directed by Miss Courtney Sack.

Graduation certificates were presented by Dr. Rianna and Mr. Klatsky. He also thanked the PTA and parents for their support and ended by saying, “Connolly School rocks – we will always be here for you!”
