Congratulations, Glen Cove High School Class of 2026!

Congratulations to all the Glen Cove High School graduates and their families who celebrated at the Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 26, 2026.

The ceremony opened with a beautiful performance of Pomp and Circumstance by the Glen Cove High School Band. Senior Class President Ryan Martino then led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a warm welcome from Assistant Principal Dr. Ursula Moorer. The Concert Choir, under the direction of Brittney Frank Rifkind, performed a moving rendition of the National Anthem, and senior Sophia Zapata Diaz conducted the Glen Cove High School Alma Mater.

Inspiring remarks and addresses were shared throughout the evening, offering guidance and reflection for the graduates. Thank you to Principal Allen Hudson III, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alexa Doeschner, and Board of Education President Dr. Angela Raimo for their uplifting speeches. The audience also heard powerful words during the Salutatory Address by Peyton Angalet, the Honorarian Address by Ella Wohltmann, and a speech from Faculty Speaker Fran Krisch. Additionally, Ryan Martino gave the Class Presentation as both the class president and BOE student representative, and Saoirse Fiedor delivered a memorable Valedictory Address.

The celebration continued with a special performance of Landslide by the Concert Choir. Following the music, Principal Hudson proudly presented the Class of 2026, and Dr. Alexa Doeschner officially certified the graduates. Assistant Principals Dr. Moorer and Ms. Franco called each senior to the stage during the Presentation of the Class, and Board President Dr. Angela Raimo delivered the formal Declaration of Graduation.

Valedictorian Saoirse Fiedor then led the traditional turning of the tassel, officially marking the graduation of the Class of 2026! As the graduates exited the field, the Glen Cove High School Orchestra, led by Kay Twak, performed the Recessional, Graduation Day.
