Celebrating Our Finley Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Orchestra, Chorus, and Band

Our seventh- and eighth-grade musicians delivered a wonderful Spring Concert highlighting the skill of our middle school ensembles. The evening featured performances from the Jazz Band (directed by Mr. Keith Schmidt), the 7th and 8th Grade Orchestra (directed by Mr. Chris Lippe), the 7th and 8th Grade Chorus (directed by Miss Courtney Sack, accompanied by Dr. Sun Ah Choi); and the 7th and 8th Grade Band (directed by Mr. Schmidt).

The Jazz Band performed "In the Zone," "Twist and Shout," "Beauty and the Beast," "The Judge," and "Tequila." The Orchestra performed "Wonka," "Wellerman," "La Bruja," and "Allegro Con Brio." The Chorus presented "Dansi Na Kuimba" with small group Ana Alvarenga, Angeli Davila, Isadora Eldredge, and Leslye Roldan Hernandez, "It Had to Be You" with soloists Brianna Pietri, Matias Moreno, Mia Berrios, and Cole Martinez, "When We Sing" with small group Isabella DeLuca, Angelic Santana, and Ava Zuppardi, "Belonging," and "Beautiful Day."

The 7th and 8th Grade Band performed "Lexicon," "X Factor," "Happy," and "Jamestia."
