Celebrating Our Finley Middle School 6th Grade Orchestra, Chorus, and Band

Our sixth-grade student musicians delivered an exceptional Spring Concert showcasing the impressive growth of our young musicians. The evening featured outstanding performances from our 6th Grade Orchestra, directed by Mr. Chris Lippe, the 6th Grade Chorus, directed by Miss Courtney Sack, accompanied by Dr. Sun Ah Choi; and the 6th Grade Band, directed by Mr. Keith Schmidt.

The Orchestra performed "The Mandalorian," "Huevos Rancheros," "Dragon’s Flight," and "The Great Conquest". The Chorus presented "Sing Cantate Comino," "Homeward Bound"—featuring soloists Vivienne Glowinski-Cave and Annabella Silecchia and a duet by Jason Andrus and Rafael Portillo Cruz—"What a Wonderful World," with soloists Skylar Basile and Mackenzie Alessandro, "Go the Distance," featuring a small group including Sochikaima Anaekwe, Stella Cassin, Lyla Eschenauer, and Kennedy Hyde, and concluded with "I Sing Because I’m Happy".  The Band performed "Extreme," "Egyptique," "Louie, Louie," and "Grant County Overture".

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Board of Education, Central Administration, and the Finley Middle School Administration for their continued support. Special thanks to Dr. Doeschner for attending, and art teacher Michele McLoughlin for the beautiful program artwork.
