Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Deasy School

Deasy Welcome Guest Readers for Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Spanish-speaking administrators visited the bilingual classrooms at Deasy School as special guest readers! Our young learners were thrilled to see leaders who remind them that being bilingual is a superpower—one that inspires pride in their language, culture, and identity every day.

A special thank you to Ashley Ghiraldi, District Coordinator of World Language and ENL, for organizing this wonderful event and reading to our students, and to Victoria Curtis and Kristen Schaefer for sharing their stories with our classes. We also appreciate Ms. Hajok, Ms. Rossi, and Ms. Reyes for welcoming everyone into their classrooms and helping make the day so meaningful.
