Board of Education Recognition Week

The week of October 13-17 was Board of Education Recognition Week. On October 22, 2025, Superintendent Dr. Alexa Doeschner honored our dedicated Board of Education members: President Dr. Angela Raimo, Vice President Anne Markoulis; Trustees Maureen Jimenez, Meghan Lavine, Lia Leone, Brett Miller, and Maria Elena Venuto; Student Representative Ryan Martino, Student Council President; and Alternate Student Representative Michael Mecca, Student Council Vice President - for their commitment to the students, staff, parents, and community of the Glen Cove City School District. Each board member was presented with a gift and certificate as a token of appreciation. We are also grateful to District Clerk Ida Johnson, who baked a special cake in honor of the Board.

We are proud to recognize the students of Connolly School for their leadership and commitment to helping others.
