Aiden Van Ommeren Headed to International Thespy Finals

Aiden Van Ommeren has officially qualified for the Thespy Finals after earning a flawless 20/20 score from both adjudicators. By securing a perfect "Superior" ranking, the highest honor in school theatre, Aiden has earned a spot at the International Thespian Festival this June. There, he will showcase his talent for global recognition and college scholarship opportunities.

Aiden achieved this milestone in the Solo Musical Theatre category with a high-energy performance of "Noel's Lament." The piece is notoriously difficult, requiring immense vocal control and character work, making his perfect score even more impressive.

"I am incredibly proud of Aiden’s hard work and dedication," says Theatre Teacher Jared Ross. "Taking on a complex piece like 'Noel's Lament' and executing it with such precision is a testament to his talent and growth. Seeing him earn a perfect score and qualify for Internationals is a highlight for our entire department."
