GCHS Senior Athlete Londell Wheeler Commits to Collegiate Team

Glen Cove High School student athlete, Londell Wheeler, was honored for signing a letter of intent to play Division 1 Soccer at LIU Post. His family, teammates, friends, faculty, coaches, members of the administration, including Superintendent, Dr. Maria Rianna, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Unal Karakas, Athletic Director, Kim Riso, Principal Allen Hudson III, coaches Brian Smith, Erick Pajuelo, and Christian Dottin were in attendance.
Coach Brian Smith commended Londell for his character, dedication, and achievement. He also recognized his family for supporting him throughout his journey to become a collegiate athlete.
"Londell exemplifies a true student athlete here at Glen Cove High School. Playing at the next level is an experience that he will never forget. I wish him the best of luck and enjoy the next four years! We will miss you tremendously!" said Kim Riso, Athletic Director.
The Glen Cove City School District congratulates Londell on his accomplishments and wishes him well as a collegiate athlete.
