Student Senate is composed primarily of elected representatives from each grade. All elected representatives attend weekly meetings (sometimes, more often). Student Senate serves as a vital voice to administration, faculty, and the Glen Cove community.

Participation in Student Senate provides students with an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities such as elections, spirit week, homecoming and other service-learning programs.
