Believe it or not, we have made it to June! As I think back on this school year, I am filled with gratitude and pride. Our PTA supported so many events throughout the year that made the year fly by in a flurry of fun and uplifting events. Our teachers worked tirelessly to push students and help them find the joy in learning. Throughout the year, we fostered kindness and demonstrated time and time again that Connolly School rocks! 

June is an exciting month in which we take time to celebrate our accomplishments and enjoy our community before we go our separate ways over the summer. Please review the dates for the end-of-year events carefully so your student is prepared. 

We’re pleased to invite you to Field Day 2023! Field Day will take place on June 1 with a rain date of June 8. In order to ensure safety for all participants, you must register in advance to attend and can do so by scanning the QR code to the left. Here is our tentative schedule: 

10:30-11:30  - Grade 4

12:30-1:30  - Grade 5

1:30-2:30 - Grade 3

Our picnic is an annual June highlight for all grades. This is a full day of water games, activities, a DJ, Mr. Softee, a barbecue, and more! Please ensure that your child is prepared with comfortable clothes and sun lotion. Because space is limited, parents can only attend as volunteers. Please see PTA materials for sign-up information. 

Fifth-Graders Only: Fifth-grade students must return their Chromebooks (including the plastic cover and charger) by June 14. Students attending the Summer Academy can keep their devices. Students will receive new devices when they enter middle school. 

Connolly Elementary Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony will be on Tuesday June 20, 2023.

Lo creas o no, ¡hemos llegado a junio! El pensar en este año escolar, me llena de gratitud y orgullo.
