Board of Education Communication regarding Superintendent's Retirement

The Glen Cove Board of Education has engaged with District Wise Search Consultants to conduct the search for its next Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Maria Rianna’s retirement will be effective June 30, 2025.

On behalf of The Trustees of the Glen Cove City Board of Education, we sincerely thank the community for their valuable input throughout this process. The forum was held on March 4, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Library, with an option to participate via Zoom. Community feedback has played an essential role in shaping the search for our next Superintendent.

The application period has now closed. District-Wise Search Consultants and the Board of Education are proceeding with the next steps in the selection process.

We appreciate the engagement of all stakeholders and will continue to provide updates as the process moves forward.
