Education Committee
Overview
The Education Committee serves as a collaborative advisory body that supports communication between the Glen Cove Board of Education and the community on curriculum, instruction, and student achievement. Working with the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, the committee reviews programs, analyzes student learning data, and makes recommendations to strengthen academic outcomes, align curriculum with state standards, and enhance professional development. It also helps communicate district educational priorities and accomplishments to the broader community. As an advisory committee, it operates under the authority of the Board and makes recommendations that the Board may accept, reject, or revise.
